Working with planning consultants DP9 we have progressed the design in preparation for a pre-application submission in the coming weeks. These preview images give a sense of the scale and ambition of the project, with more to be revealed in the coming months. The possibilities of the project are extremely exciting.
Our exciting project for the full rebuild of a terraced house in Brockley has been granted permission by the London Borough of Lewisham. The proposed rebuild is a response to numerous structural problems with the existing property. By being a full rebuild, the construction work will be zero rated for VAT, helping to offset some of the additional cost of the rebuild. The project is due to start on site in September.
Oscar McDonald has joined Conibere Phillips. A Part II architectural assistant with good experience working on some of the most prestigious projects in the UK, we are very excited about Oscar joining our team.
Our Elmwood Road project has received planning permission. The application is unusual because it includes the partial recladding of the neighbouring property. It is actually the 2nd planning application for the project, the first being a change of use application to re-combine two flats back into a single house.
Work has commenced on site at our Claylands Road project. This ambitious extension and refurbishment project is being built by Create Bespoke contractors.

The proposals include the creation of a basement, double height dining / library space and a roof extension. We recently met members of the Dyson Professional Sales Team and Press Team in their new offices on Oxford Street. Conibere Phillips designed the offices, located above the new Dyson Store, in the first half of 2016.
As well as the office space we designed a board room and meeting suite that is used as a London base for the company. It was fantastic to catch up with the Dyson team and receive positive feedback on the new spaces.
We are pleased to announce a new commission. Located around the corner from our Ferndale project, and secured following a referral from our client there, the project is for extension and reorganisation of the ground floor of a 3 storey semi-detached house.

Our ambitious reimagining of a poor quality rear addition to an early Victorian terraced house has received planning permission from Lambeth at the first attempt. The house is in a conservation area and the challenge of working with the unsympathetic existing rear addition was significant. We made a pre-application submission and worked closely with the Lambeth planning team to develop a design that everyone is excited by.
Our project for a large rear extension and refurbishment of a house in Bromley has been on site for 4 weeks. The main structural works are now complete and the project is on track for completion in December.
